Why OMS?

OMS's difference in 4 areas.

Single source of truth

Whichever channel it comes from, order data is normalized to one format. Reporting, customer service, and return flow stay consistent.

Rule management without code

Manage business rules from your own screen without going through IT. A new market, a new campaign — roll it out quickly.

State-transition transparency

Every step of every order on the audit trail. Retrospective review, customer disputes, audit reports — one query.

Live flow monitoring

Catch order bottlenecks with minute-level trends. Awaiting approval, payment errors, out-of-stock — all on one screen.

Modules

What's inside the Order Management System?

Module What it does
Order Intake Engine
Accepts orders from common integration methods: REST API, GraphQL, EDI, batch CSV, and webhooks. Guarantees the same order is never processed twice.
Rules Engine
Validation, data-enrichment, and routing rules. Configured visually, without code.
Customer Account Management
Individual (B2C) and corporate (B2B) customer models, contract-based pricing, and usage limits.
Cancellation & Change
Partial cancellation, carrier change, address update — changes propagate automatically to all relevant systems.

Architecture

Every order's history, on the record

Every order is stored as a recorded stream of all state changes it goes through, from beginning to end. A new state (approved, packed, shipped, returned, etc.) doesn't overwrite earlier records; each step is appended as a separate entry. That makes it easy to look back at what happened when, trace a defect backward, or build reports.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about OMS

Does OMS replace ERP?
No, it complements it. The ERP is the single source of truth for financial and accounting records. OMS is the single source of truth for the order lifecycle and operational flow. They work together; Omniens bidirectionally syncs with common ERPs like SAP, Logo, and Nebim through ready-made connectors.
Can I manage individual (B2C) and corporate (B2B) customers in the same deployment?
Yes. Different validation, pricing, and approval rules can be set by customer type. Customer portals are also customized by type.
How does marketplace integration (Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon) work?
We have ready-made connectors for every marketplace. Orders, inventory, price, and delivery status sync bidirectionally. Tracking marketplace platform changes is our responsibility — you don't deal with it.
Does it work with headless e-commerce architectures?
Yes. All Order Management System functions are accessible via API. It works seamlessly regardless of what technology powers your storefront (React, Next.js, Shopify, etc.).
What are the API usage limits?
Standard plan: 10,000 requests per minute. Enterprise plan: tailored to your needs. Burst-capacity smoothing is available for sudden peak periods.
Is there a sandbox environment?
Yes. A sandbox is provisioned alongside production for every customer. A realistic data generator is also available for testing.
